Frequently Asked Questions
Direct answers on scope, status, qualifications, confidentiality and the limits of what we do — including the questions people hesitate to ask.
The short version. We are an independent private security and protection organization. We are not a government body, we hold no official powers, and we do not claim affiliation with the Russian Federation, the FSB or any other state agency.
We provide executive protection, personal and residential security consultancy, corporate security frameworks, travel security planning, event-security planning, security and risk assessments, risk-management consulting, protective intelligence within lawful limits, emergency and crisis preparedness, and lawful personal-safety training.
These fall into two categories we keep deliberately separate: advisory work (assessment, planning, policy, training) and regulated security activity (people performing a security function). The second is licensed and restricted in most countries, and its availability depends entirely on the jurisdiction.
We are structured to support clients whose lives and operations cross borders. However, we do not claim active operations in any country unless that can be verified at the time of the enquiry, and we do not publish office locations.
Each international requirement is assessed individually against local law, licensing, visas and work authorisation, insurance, security regulations, contractual permissions, local partner requirements and practical feasibility. We give a direct answer, including when the answer is that we cannot proceed.
Where legally permitted and subject to vetting, our network may include appropriately qualified former security, military, law-enforcement, protective-security and specialist instructor personnel.
We do not claim that our personnel are former employees of any particular agency, and we do not present any individual as such. Background is treated as evidence to be verified, not as a credential to be advertised.
No. Everyone engaged through this organization works as a private civilian professional. Nobody engaged by us acts as a government employee, official or representative, and nobody holds governmental powers by virtue of working with us.
Where an individual previously served in a government role, that prior service confers no current authority, no powers of arrest, detention, search or seizure beyond those of any private person, and no access to government systems, records or resources.
No. We are an independent organization and should not be represented as the Russian government, FSB or another state agency unless specific official authorization exists and can be verified.
This website does not constitute an official website of the Russian Federation, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB), or any other government agency. We are not owned, endorsed, authorised or operated by any government body, and we hold no governmental, law-enforcement, intelligence or diplomatic authority. Any claim to the contrary attributed to this organization should be treated as false unless expressly stated by us in writing and independently verifiable.
Requirements depend on the role and the jurisdiction. Depending on both, personnel may be required to hold valid security licensing or registration, evidenced training and competence relevant to the duties, current safety or first-aid certification, lawful immigration status and work authorisation, appropriate insurance cover, and satisfactory background screening.
References are taken up directly rather than accepted as supplied documents, and verification is repeated for each role and jurisdiction rather than held indefinitely.
Yes, subject to licensing and local law in the jurisdiction concerned. Executive protection as we practise it is a planning discipline: advance work, risk assessment, route and venue planning, communications, coordination, contingency planning and emergency procedures, with physical presence as the last layer rather than the first.
The objective is prevention, discretion and safe continuity of the client's activities — not visible security.
Yes. Our training covers situational awareness, personal safety, de-escalation, defensive awareness, emergency response, travel safety, workplace safety and basic preparedness.
It is designed for lawful defensive purposes and does not promote violence, vigilantism or unlawful weapons use. We do not provide weapon-construction instruction or offensive tactical training, and content is adapted to the self-defence law of the country where it is delivered.
Only where it is lawful, licensed and practically feasible in the country concerned. Arranging personnel abroad depends on local licensing, whether the individual can lawfully work in that jurisdiction, visa and immigration status, valid insurance, any requirement to engage a locally licensed provider, and the client's contractual position.
Where those conditions cannot be met, we say so rather than proceed informally.
Client information is treated as confidential during and after an engagement. Personnel are bound by written confidentiality terms, information is shared internally only on a need-to-know basis, and personal data is collected only where necessary and held only as long as required, in line with applicable data-protection law.
We also respect confidentiality obligations owed by our personnel to former employers, and we do not seek information that anyone is legally obliged to protect.
Far less than most people expect at the first stage. To scope an assessment we usually need the general nature of the concern, the type of client (individual, family or organization), the locations or countries involved, an approximate timeframe, and any constraints you already know about.
Please do not send sensitive, classified, government-restricted or confidential third-party information at the enquiry stage. If detailed information is needed later, we will agree how it should be shared securely and under what terms.
We do not publish a list of countries, because such lists are routinely misleading and we will not claim a presence we cannot verify. Capability in any given country depends on local law, licensing, work authorisation, insurance and practical feasibility at that time.
Tell us the destination and the dates, and we will confirm what is lawfully and practically available there — including when the honest answer is that we cannot support the requirement.
Still have a question?
If your question is not answered here, ask it directly. Questions about authority, licensing and limits are particularly welcome — they are usually the right ones.
